Experienced Site Technician / Field Service Technician
We're looking for an Experienced Site Technician / Field Service Technician to join us at Obsnap Automation Sdn. Bhd. (HQ in Subang Jaya) and support projects nationwide across Malaysia.

What You'll Do
- Take ownership of customer issues, from troubleshooting to full resolution.
- Research, diagnose, and resolve system/equipment problems; escalate unresolved issues when necessary.
- Carry out on-site installation, calibration, servicing, and repair of equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to determine procedures.
- Prepare service reports, technical documentation, and customer feedback.
- Provide prompt, professional responses to technical enquiries (installation, systems, service).
- Guide and support junior technicians on technical matters.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers, reporting progress and challenges.
- Support office-based tasks and on-site follow-ups as assigned.
Requirements
Education & Skills
- Diploma/Certificate (or higher) in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Automation.
- Solid grounding in mathematics and physics for technical work.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Ability to read technical drawings and manuals.
Experience
- 13 years of experience in installation, troubleshooting, or maintenance of electrical/electronic equipment.
- Familiarity with automation systems, control panels, or industrial instrumentation is a plus.
- Candidates with 35 years of experience may be considered for advanced responsibilities.
Personal Qualities
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Initiative and willingness to learn new technologies.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Team player, but able to work independently when needed.
Languages
- Required: English.
- Added advantage: Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin.
