Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Six Sigma Black Belt role based in Kamunting. The role is responsible for leading cross-functional process improvement projects using Six Sigma and Lean methodologies to enhance quality, efficiency, and cost effectiveness in manufacturing and operations. Daily activities include defining project scopes, collecting and analyzing data, identifying root causes of process variation, and implementing sustainable corrective actions. The Six Sigma Black Belt collaborates closely with operations, quality, engineering, and supply chain teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and standardize best practices. The role also involves coaching and mentoring project teams, delivering training on problem-solving tools, and reporting project progress and results to leadership.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Six Sigma and Lean methodologies, including DMAIC, value stream mapping, and root cause analysis.
• Experience with data analysis and statistics, using tools such as Minitab or similar software to interpret process performance.
• Background in manufacturing or operations within a regulated industry; medical devices or healthcare technology experience preferred.
• Ability to lead cross-functional project teams, manage change, and influence stakeholders at multiple levels.
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and structured decision-making skills.
• Clear and concise communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Formal Six Sigma Black Belt certification from a recognized organization is strongly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, business, or a related field; advanced degree is an advantage.
• Demonstrated track record of delivering measurable improvements in quality, cost, or throughput.
• Comfort working on-site in a manufacturing environment and adhering to safety and quality standards.
