Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all Smart Hands operations across the assigned data center campus.
  • Plan, schedule, and oversee Smart Hands task execution including installations, migrations, cabling, troubleshooting, and customer requests.
  • Ensure timely response and resolution to customer tickets while maintaining SLA compliance.
  • Develop and maintain Smart Hands SOPs, work instructions, and quality assurance checklists.
  • Work closely with the Campus Director in resource planning, workload balancing, and performance reporting.
  • Provide hands-on technical support in areas such as patching, power cycling, hardware swaps, visual inspections, and structured cabling.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams during incidents, change activities, and maintenance events.
  • Ensure all work activities are documented, tracked, and closed accurately in the ticketing system.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to safety, security, and operational standards.
  • Train, mentor, and develop Smart Hands Technicians to build a high-performing team.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and efficiency.
  • Support customer tours, audits, and technical reviews as required.

Candidate Requirements

  • Engineering, IT, or relevant technical background preferred.
  • 5+ years experience in data center Smart Hands, IT field services, or technical operations.
  • Strong understanding of cabling standards, basic network/hardware troubleshooting, and data center best practices.
  • Experience managing technicians or small technical teams.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Request).
  • Strong communication skills with ability to interface with customers and internal teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced critical environment with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Willingness to work after-hours during critical events when required.
