SMB Vertical Expert & Industry Insight

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly knowledgeable and strategic Vertical Expert to lead our efforts in understanding and serving Small and Medium Businesses (SMBs) across key industries in APAC. This role will be instrumental in shaping go-to-market strategies, driving customer engagement, and influencing product/service development with deep industry insights resulting to revenue generation in APAC.

Key Responsibilities

• Industry Expertise: Provide deep insights into SMB & potential growth dynamics across targeted verticals (e.g., Retail, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Education, etc.).
• Market Intelligence: Analyze trends, challenges, and opportunities within SMB segments to inform strategic decisions.
• Customer Engagement: Act as a trusted advisor to internal teams and clients, offering tailored recommendations based on industry knowledge.
• Solution Development: Collaborate with product, sales, and delivery teams to design solutions that meet SMB needs.
• Thought Leadership: Represent the company in industry forums, webinars, and publications to share insights and build brand credibility.
• Competitive Analysis: Monitor competitor activities and market shifts to maintain a competitive edge.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, sales, and delivery teams to align strategies and messaging.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in business, Economics, Marketing, or related field. MBA or equivalent is a plus.
• Minimum 7 - 12 years of experience in SMB-focused roles, preferably in consulting, strategy, or industry-specific positions.
• Proven track record of working within or advising SMBs in one or more verticals.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for SMB growth.
• Collaborative and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
