Job Description

To drive production DPKU and determine root cause and recommend fixes to resolve issues.
Generate weekly report on quality performance and corrective action implementations.
To reduce down time of SMT machines
To carry out machine setup, minor trouble shooting and preventive maintenance schedule.
To conduct pilot run and other evaluations.
To maintain SMT and Wave machine history card to capture downtime, root cause and corrective actions.
To provide training to DLs on SMT equipment operation and participate in the certification of DLs.
To support all product transfer activities
To liaise with vendors for the fabrication of fixtures, evaluate and buyoff fixtures for functionality.
To monitor daily machine and equipment operation and ensure that the equipment is operating at the optimal level at all times.
To review and determine if defective material can be salvaged and to confirm scrap material status and to provide rework procedures.
To train Technicians on the technique and procedures of executing processes.
To work on cost reduction projects.
To maintain relevant spare parts for the equipment and follow-up with vendors for spare parts support if required.
To institute process controls to ensure that the process are in control within manufacturing specifications.
Prepare training package and conduct training for DLs on all SMT operations.
To motivate technicians and enhance their knowledge and skills.

Can stop operation if the equipment spoilt or uncomfortable sound
Authority is commensurate with the responsibility.
Can stop the process if it's not stable or out of specification in customer documents.
