Job Title: SOC Level 2 Security Analyst

Location: Kuala Lumpur

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled SOC Level 2 Security Analyst to join our Security Operations Center. The ideal candidate will have experience in monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security incidents to maintain our organization's security posture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor security alerts and escalate issues as needed
• Conduct detailed analysis of security incidents to determine root causes
• Respond to and contain security threats and vulnerabilities
• Collaborate with Level 1 analysts and other IT teams to resolve security issues
• Maintain and update security incident documentation and reports
• Participate in ongoing security assessments and improvements

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in security operations or related field
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity threats, attack vectors, and defense strategies
• Familiarity with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and log analysis
• Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills
• Effective communication skills for cross-team collaboration
• Relevant certifications like CompTIA Security+, CEH, or CISSP are a plus
