16TWO is looking for a Social Media Community Manager to help manage and grow the digital presence of multiple brands across social platforms. This role is ideal for someone who understands internet culture, enjoys interacting with online audiences, and knows how to keep communities active, engaged, and well-managed.

You will be involved in day-to-day community management, social listening, online reputation support, and helping brands maintain a strong and consistent online presence.

Job Scope

  • Manage and monitor social media platforms across multiple brands
  • Respond to comments, messages, mentions, and customer queries in a timely and professional manner
  • Assist in maintaining brand reputation and online presence across social platforms
  • Monitor online conversations, trends, feedback, and sentiment surrounding brands
  • Coordinate with internal teams, including Client Servicing, Creative, Content, and Strategy, to ensure brand consistency
  • Assist in handling social community engagement activities and reactive content opportunities
  • Support social listening and basic online reputation management efforts
  • Stay updated with the latest social media trends, platform updates, meme culture, and digital conversations
  • Leverage AI-powered tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and similar platforms to assist with content ideation, copywriting, community engagement, research, and overall productivity
  • Prepare weekly and monthly community management reports
  • Escalate sensitive issues, complaints, or crisis-related conversations when necessary
  • Assist in ensuring social pages remain active, relevant, and engaging

Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, and Threads
  • Good understanding of internet culture, online behaviour, trends, and community engagement
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Pleasant personality with good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Basic understanding of digital marketing and social media management
  • Comfortable using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and other AI-powered platforms for content ideation, writing assistance, and productivity
  • Experience in managing social media accounts (brand, freelance, internship, or personal projects)
  • Minimum Diploma in Marketing, Communications, Business, Media, or related fields
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in social media, community management, customer engagement, or related roles
  • Fresh graduates with strong social media understanding are encouraged to apply

  • Have experience using tools such as Meta Business Suite, TikTok Creator tools, Canva, or social listening tools
