Job Description

As a Social Media Content Strategist, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing The Chamber content strategy across digital platforms that aligns The Chamber's vision and resonate with our target audience. Collaborate with cross functional teams and lead in content creation efforts and to shape our brand's voice. Exceptional writing skills, strategic thinking and attention to detail to enhance our brand presence, continuously engage with our audience and drive business growth.

Responsibilities

The role will develop and implement The Chamber's social media strategy. It involves creating engaging content, managing The Chamber's social media accounts, and analysing performance to drive our brand's online presence. You will need to be passionate about social media, creative ideas, and data with a keen understanding of current trends and best practices. Your main stakeholders are the commercial, operations and marketing leads of The Chamber business (Senior Brand Manager, Marketing Manager, GM/ Operations Lead)

Content Creation & Strategy

  • Develop and manage a consistent content calendar aligned with The Chamber's brand voice, campaigns, and seasonal activations.
  • Create, curate, and oversee the production of engaging multimedia content (video, photo, graphics, reels, etc.) across digital channels. Eg) Instagram, Facebook, Red Note
  • Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., creative, events, marketing) to develop content that supports key business and marketing objectives.

  • Social Media Management

    • Own and grow The Chamber's social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Red Note, etc.).
    • Plan, schedule, and publish high-quality posts, monitor performance, and optimize for engagement and reach, while making sure they are posted within the set schedule.
    • Engage with followers, respond to messages/comments, and build an active, community-first presence.
    • Stay on top of social media trends, tools, and best practices.
    • Working closely with the Digital Marketing team to design and create social ad campaigns, monitoring and reporting on their effectiveness.
    • Provide regular reports on social media performance and suggest improvements.

  • Influencer & Media Relations

    • Identify, vet, and manage relationships with influencers, brand ambassadors, and content creators aligned with The Chamber's values and audience.
    • Coordinate influencer campaigns, partnerships, and product seeding efforts.
    • Build relationships with media outlets and PR contacts to secure features, press coverage, and event partnerships.

    Requirements

    • 3+ years in a similar role (brand, agency, or media).
    • Proven experience in social media strategy, content creation, and influencer collaboration.
    • Excellent writing, storytelling, and visual communication skills.
    • Knowledge of relevant platforms and tools (Canva/Adobe Suite, Later/Planoly, Meta Business Suite, TikTok, etc.).
    • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
    • A passion for beverage, lifestyle, and brand culture is a plus.

    Nice to Have

    • Photography or videography skills.
    • Experience in the F&B, alcohol, or event marketing industry.
    • PR/media relations experience or a network of contacts in lifestyle publications.
