Social Media Executive / Content Creator

WFH | Full-Time (KL & Selangor)

(Occasional travel within Malaysia or to Singapore may be required for events)

Position Overview

The Social Media Executive / Content Creator supports marketing execution by managing content creation, social media execution, KOL coordination, and customer-facing communication across multiple brands, including Founder branding, Korean Skincare Brands, Fashion and IT.

You will work closely with the marketing and creative team to ensure consistent, timely, and on-brand content across all platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Content & Social Media Execution

  • Execute social media content across assigned platforms (e.g. Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, XHS)
  • Plan and maintain content calendars in alignment with campaign direction
  • Write captions, prepare copy, and schedule posts
  • Repurpose founder content, event content, and campaign assets into multiple formats
  • Monitor basic engagement and highlight content insights

2. Content Production & Shooting Support

  • Support photo and video shoots by assisting with preparation, coordination, and scheduling
  • Work closely with the Media Manager during shoots to ensure content requirements are met
  • Help organise content briefs, shot lists, and assets
  • Assist in coordinating content shoots with clinics, partners, or KOLs

3. KOL Content Coordination

  • Support execution of KOL collaborations from a content and coordination perspective
  • Assist with briefing KOLs on content requirements and timelines
  • Track KOL deliverables (posts, reels, stories) and follow up when needed
  • Ensure KOL content aligns with campaign themes and posting schedules

4. Customer Fronting Digital Channels

  • Handle first-line customer enquiries across:

-- Social media DMs and comments

-- E-commerce platform inboxes

  • Respond to basic product, campaign, and order-related questions using approved guidelines
  • Escalate order, refund, or sensitive issues to the senior executive when required

5. Market Research, Campaign & Event Support

  • Conduct basic market and competitor research related to content and campaigns
  • Gather references, trends, and examples for internal discussions
  • Contribute ideas and suggestions during brainstorming sessions
  • Support campaign execution once direction is finalised
  • Support event planning and provide on-site assistance during events when required
  • Assist with other ad hoc tasks related to marketing execution and coordination as needed

Requirements

23 years of hands-on content creation experience

Personal IP branding experience is preferred

Familiar with XHS, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn

Able to manage multiple brands and deadlines

Comfortable with WFH and occasional travel

Proficiency in basic video editing is a plus

Agency experience is a plus
