Job Summary
The Social Media Executive is responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing both paid and organic social media strategies to drive lead generation, brand awareness, and audience engagement. This role combines content creation, campaign management, analytics, and collaboration to ensure consistent and impactful digital presence across all social platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Optimize and manage paid social media campaigns to generate high-quality leads and support marketing objectives.
- Monitor campaign performance, budget utilization, and ROI, making data-driven adjustments to improve results.
- Stay updated with the latest social media advertising tools, features, and best practices.
- Plan, create, and publish organic (non-paid) content across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other relevant channels.
- Write clear, engaging, and on-brand content, including captions, short articles, announcements, and campaign messaging.
- Develop and manage monthly content calendars, ensuring timely, consistent, and relevant postings.
- Adapt content tone, messaging, and format to suit different platforms and target audiences while maintaining brand voice.
- Engage followers through regular company updates and timely responses to comments, messages, and interactions.
- Foster online communities and build brand awareness by encouraging meaningful audience engagement.
- Identify opportunities to amplify reach through trends, conversations, and platform-specific features.
- Monitor organic and paid social media metrics, including reach, engagement, conversions, and ROI.
- Analyze performance data and prepare regular reports with insights and actionable recommendations.
- Refine content and campaign strategies based on analytics, audience behavior, and market trends.
- Collaborate closely with Graphic Designers, Marketing team members, and internal stakeholders to deliver cohesive and effective social media content.
- Translate training programmes, events, and organizational initiatives into compelling digital stories and campaigns.
- Coordinate social media efforts with broader marketing, branding, and communication strategies.
- Actively support SEO initiatives, including keyword research, image optimization, and content optimization.
- Contribute ideas to enhance website and digital content visibility through social media and search integration.
- Devise creative plans to refresh social media content and support website revitalization efforts.
- Stay up to date with emerging social media trends, tools, content formats (e.g. Reels, carousels, short-form videos), and algorithm changes.
- Continuously test, learn, and improve social media strategies to maximize reach, engagement, and impact.
Job Requirements
- 1-2 years of work experience with Social Media Advertising. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply!
- Diploma/Degree in Marketing, Communications, Media or related field.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and algorithms.
- Experience in content planning and performance analysis.
- Familiar with analytics tools (Meta, TikTok, Google Analytics).
- Good copywriting skills in both Malay and English.
- Able to work flexible hours, especially during conferences.
Criteria we need:
- Excellent consulting, writing, editing , presentation and communication skills.
- Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge.
- Adequate knowledge of web design, web development, CRO and SEO.
- Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels.
- Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability.
Salary: RM2,700 - RM3,500
