Role: Social Media Intern

Internship Duration: 6 Months

Report To: Head of Creative (Malaysia)

We are looking for a Social Media Intern who is passionate about social media, content trends, and the creator space to support the Creative Strategy and MGAG teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the team in tracking content performance metrics such as views, engagement rates, audience growth, and campaign performance.
  • Help with data gathering for social trend analysis, identifying patterns in viral content, platform behaviour, and audience engagement.
  • Assist in preparing monthly performance reports for MGAG content and client campaigns, where necessary.
  • Support the Creative Strategy team with campaign analytics, including post-campaign reporting and key insights.
  • Participate in social content development and production for relevant HEPMIL platforms or client campaigns.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Media, Communications, Business, Data Analytics, or related fields.
  • Strong interest in social media platforms, digital content, and online trends.
  • Comfortable working with data, spreadsheets, and analytics dashboards (Google Sheets / Excel).
  • Basic understanding of social media metrics such as engagement rate, reach, impressions, and audience growth.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and derive simple insights.
  • Passion for digital media, content trends, and the creator economy.
