Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Social Media Marketing Intern role based in WP. Kuala Lumpur. The intern will support daily social media operations, including planning, creating, and publishing content across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn. Responsibilities include assisting with content calendars, drafting post copy, sourcing visuals or short videos, and helping to monitor trends relevant to ASEAN achievements and stories. The role also involves engaging with online communities by responding to comments and messages, supporting basic analytics reporting, and contributing ideas for campaigns that increase awareness and engagement. The intern will collaborate with the marketing and content teams to ensure consistent branding and messaging across all digital channels.
Qualifications
- Strong interest and basic skills in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Content Creation.
- Foundational understanding of Digital Marketing and Marketing principles.
- Effective Communication skills, both written and verbal, with attention to clear and inclusive language.
- Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment and manage time across multiple tasks.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma/degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Familiarity with major social media platforms, basic analytics tools, and simple design or video-editing tools (e.g., Canva, CapCut, or similar) is an advantage.
- Proactive, curious mindset with a willingness to learn about ASEAN culture, records, and regional trends.
