Social Media Marketing Intern

We are seeking a proactive and creative Social Media Marketing Intern to assist in the planning, execution, and optimisation of our digital and social media activities. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, digitally savvy, and eager to gain hands-on experience in content creation, event coverage, and online brand communication. This internship offers a hybrid work arrangement with opportunities for professional development and portfolio building.

• Plan, develop, and schedule content for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn).
• Create basic visual assets using Canva or similar design tools.
• Draft engaging captions and copywriting aligned with brand voice and campaign objectives.
• Assist in producing short-form videos, reels, and behind-the-scenes content.
• Monitor and engage with comments, messages, and community interactions across platforms.
• Conduct market, audience, and competitor research to support content development.
• Track social media metrics and assist in preparing weekly/monthly performance reports.
• Support the execution of digital marketing campaigns, collaborations, and promotional activities.
• Assist with weekly event coverage, including on-site photo/video capture, interviews, and real-time updates (additional allowance/meal & transport reimbursement provided when on-site).
• Provide operational support during content shoots, brand events, or marketing activations.

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma/Degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Multimedia, Design, or related fields.
• Strong passion for social media, content creation, and digital branding.
• Basic proficiency in Canva or similar design tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Familiarity with TikTok/Instagram trends is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and take initiative.
• Able to commit to a minimum internship period of 3 months.
• Willingness to attend weekly events for coverage.
