Role Description This full-time, on-site role is based in Alor Setar and combines responsibilities as a Socioeconomic Analyst and Personal Assistant to the Executive Director. On a day-to-day basis, the role involves collecting and analyzing socioeconomic data, preparing reports and briefings, and assisting with research on policies, projects, and community initiatives. The position also includes managing the Executive Director's calendar, coordinating meetings and travel, organizing documents, and handling correspondence with internal and external stakeholders. The role requires preparing presentations, maintaining accurate records, supporting follow-up on action items, and ensuring smooth administrative and operational support for the Executive Director.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Personal Assistance and Executive Administrative Assistance skills to support senior leadership effectively.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills for drafting reports, correspondence, and interacting with diverse stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess effective Diary Management and Clerical Skills for scheduling, organizing files, and maintaining documentation.
- Relevant experience in socioeconomic analysis, research, or policy-related work, including data collection and basic data interpretation.
- Proficiency in office software (word processing, spreadsheets, presentation tools) and strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality, and exercise sound judgment in supporting executive-level decision-making.
- Bachelor's degree in economics, social sciences, business, public administration, or a related field is preferred.
