Test Automation Engineer

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications by designing, implementing, and executing automated test scripts.

Responsibilities:

Automation Test Design & Development:

Develop and maintain automated test scripts for web-based, clientbased and mobile-based applications.

Enhance and maintain hybrid-driven test automation framework developed using following technology

1. Selenium and Appium with Java programming language

2. OpenText UFT One with VB script programming language

Create reusable test automation frameworks and tools to improve testing efficiency.

Execute automated test cases for regression testing

Required Qualifications: Technical Skills:

o Strong programming skills in VB script, Java, with the ability to write efficient, clean, and maintainable code.

o Familiarity with Selenium and Appium o Familiarity with UFT One

o Proficiency in XPath and able to utilize it to locate and interact with elements in web applications.

o Familiarity with test automation frameworks (e.g., TestNG).

o Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.

Additional Skills:

o 4+ years of prior experience as an Automation Tester

o Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

o Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

o Good English communication skill
