A leading manufacturing company based in Kuantan, Pahang is seeking a Software, Cybersecurity and Network Engineer to join their dynamic team.. Your responsibilities include managing M365 applications, developing security procedures and guidelines, implementing security controls, and overseeing network monitoring software.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage and develop M365 applications (Power Automate, SharePoint) and support inhouse software with vendors, including identifying security patch needs
- Develop and maintain security procedures, guidelines, and manage patch & vulnerability programs
- Implement and manage security controls; perform security assessments and work with teams to align security with business needs
- Oversee network monitoring tools (Zabbix), customize monitoring dashboards, and coordinate with vendors to analyze traffic for anomalies
- Create and maintain uptodate network diagrams and documentation for troubleshooting and audits
- Support incident response efforts, root cause analysis, Windows Server on Azure, Veeam backup configuration, and conduct security awareness training
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related discipline
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience
- Proven background in software engineering with handson cybersecurity and networking experience, including familiarity with Windows Server environments
- Professional certifications such as Microsoft Certified Developer, CISSP, CompTIA Security+, CCNP, or similar are highly advantageous.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft 365, networking protocols, cybersecurity frameworks, and overall IT infrastructure
- Practical experience in software development, network monitoring solutions, security technologies, and managing Windows servers hosted on Azure
- Skilled in using Microsoft 365 digitization tools
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problemsolving capabilities.
- Must be a Malaysian citizen and willing to be based in Kuantan, Pahang
