Role Description

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, multi-tasker, and demostrated team-player. You will lead developer responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining Java applications, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-class solutions. Daily tasks include back-end development, software design, object-oriented programming (OOP), and participating in code reviews and testing processes.

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Software Developer specializing in Java and SpringBoot. The role is located in Klang Valley with the option to work from home on certain days. The Software Developer will be responsible

Responsibilities

• Writing clean, high-quality, high-performance, maintainable code
• Develop and support software including applications, database integration, interfaces, and new functionality enhancements
• Coordinate cross-functionally to insure project meets business objectives and compliance standards
• Support test and deployment of new products and features
• Participate in code reviews

Qualifications

• Bachelor&aposs degree in Computer Science (or related field)
• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience
• Strong expertise in Java features and best practices
• Expertise in SpringBoot, Object Oriented Design, Database Design, and REST API Design
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with ORM (JPA/Hibernate)
• Experience with Agile or Scrum software development methodologies is a plus
• Version control with Git
• Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
