Job Title: Software Developer MS .NET C#,MVC

Job Function

• The position holder will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining web and/or batch programs.
• Responsible for progress updates to the PO2 team and ensuring all given development deadlines are met.
• The position holder is expected to contribute to identify deficiency of existing software process improvement based on Scrum Master and Squad Lead's instruction, as well as carrying out such assignments, over and above taking technical responsibility for delivering across all stages in the software development process.
• To work beyond office hours when necessary.

Working Relationships

Scrum Master and Development Lead Responsible to the Development Lead for the performance of all duties.

PMO Responsible for ensuring all required technical products are completed to a satisfactory standard.

Main Duties

Applications and Systems Development

Involve in various stages of projects implementation activities & deliveries based on assigned role

Work with project team & various internal / external parties in understanding project & system requirements, define the specification & execute the implementation

Ensure timely & quality deliverables

Extensively test the new or modified core programs

Prepare details deployment checklist

Perform code merge and deployment

Applications Maintenance and Support

Perform detailed investigation on production issues reported by user

Develop preventive solutions

Perform efficient and effective first and-or second level support for applications.

Job Requirement

Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Information System Engineering or equivalent qualification.

More than 5 years of relevant working experience in IT application / system support in a financial institution in Microsoft .Net C#, MVC, ASP.NET, HTML, JavaScript, MS SQL, SQL Reporting, Crystal Reporting and RDLC.

Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills

Possess strong sense of responsibility and initiative, excellent communication, interpersonal skill and pleasant personality

Development Standard:

SDLC, Agile, GIT Version Control

Programming Language:

Mandatory : MS .NET C#,MVC, MS SQL , JQuery, Rest API, ASP.Net Web Service

Optional: MS Visual FoxPro, Dapper ORM, IBM MQ
