Job Type: Contract Role

Contract Duration: One year extendable contract

Competencies and Skills

University degree Bachelors Degree or Professional Qualification Computer Science / Information Technology or its equivalent.

Microsoft Certified for Developer is added advantage.

Minimum 2 4 years in IT management, projects, process, change or business analysis role in service or vendor based organisation or banks/ financial institutions

Experience in implementing multiple IT projects in a dynamic and complex environment

Solid working experience with clear understanding of support functions and technology trends of Risk, Compliance, and Finance.

Experience working in a collaborative multi-disciplinary and regional environment

Must have 5-8 years of experience in .Net and SQL based implementations.

Hands-on experience with Microsoft technologies, specifically: .Net (core) development and MS SQL Server 2016 and above.

Must have knowledge and experience in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process.

Hands-on experience in software design and development, database design and development, and system integration.

Solid working experience with clear understanding of support functions and technology trends of Risk, Compliance, and Finance.

Experience working in a collaborative multi-disciplinary and regional environment (added advantage).

Job Specification

Technical/Functional Skills

Strong technical, analytical, communication and inter-personal skills with the ability to manage expectations and explain technical detail follow SDLC process.

Good programming skillset with .Net (core) and well versed in relational database design and implementing (MSSQL Server).

Mandatory Skills:

.Net core, e.g. ASP.Net, VB.Net, C#, .Net framework 4.x.

SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) or SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)

SQL - Stored Procedure, View, Function.

Shell scripting, e.g. Microsoft Power shell

Mandatory Tools:

Visual Studio 2017 and above.

MS SQL Server 2016 and above.

Hands-on experience with Web technologies including XML, web services, IIS, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, AJAX, JQuery, MVC or API, VBScript.

Value added

Proven ability to think creatively and develop new ways of handling technical and project tasks (think outside the box).

Good understanding in banking product and business domain and relevant data information.

Good knowledge in ETL processes and Reporting Tool will be an added advantage.
