The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced SAS ETL professional to join a high-impact project within the banking sector, working onsite at Menara Southern Bank (MSB). You will play a key role in analysing, designing, developing, and maintaining Business Enabler systems that support data enrichment, MIS reporting, and analytical needs across the organisation.

What You'll Do

* Analyse business requirements to perform feasibility studies, gap analysis, and functional/technical design for data profiling, cleansing, and transformation

* Build SAS ETL programs to create SAS datasets from various databases and external data sources

* Design, document, implement, test, and deploy systems and solutions to meet business needs

* Manage data mart requirements and user data mapping from a business perspective

* Plan and support scalable data warehouse roadmaps for future growth

* Provide second-level support, including problem investigation, identification, and permanent resolution

* Ensure compliance with local/regional regulatory requirements (e.g. BNM, MAS) and internal/external audit standards

What We're Looking For

* Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or equivalent

* At least 10 years of development experience with SAS ETL using SAS Data Integration

* At least 12 years experience in software development life cycle and processes

* Domain knowledge in Banking and Financial Services, Risk Management, Regulatory Reporting, or Basel II/III

* Strong understanding of database models, data models, and metadata concepts

* Experience with data warehouse or big data implementation projects is advantageous

* Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently under pressure
