Your Mission

CARGOSTACK is an end-to-end SaaS solution for airlines to manage their cargo business. It combines a Cargo Management System (CMS) with optimization modules leveraging AI models to provide forecast to support users when taking decisions such as setting the right level of capacity for sale (in kg and m3), the right price, the right overbooking level, or the best pallet build-up (think of a 3D-Tetris optimizer).

What You'll Do

As a Software Engineer, you will take part in the development of new features for our solutions. You will solve business and technical enquiries raised by our customers, with the support of our Product Experts and Data Scientists.

In practice – even though there is no typical day – you can expect to:

• Develop new features for our end-users, with a strong focus on code quality and working together with a senior developer, who will support you in your progression
• Take part in maintenance tasks, application monitoring and infrastructure management
• Tackle technical debt, propose new solutions and challenge architecture decisions to keep on improving the code base
• Exchange on a daily basis with our product team to share ideas about how to improve our solution, and to develop your understanding of our customer requirements

Profile

• Technical experience in the below
• Backend: Python 3.13+ with SQLAlchemy, Remoulade, Flask/FastAPI
• Frontend: TypeScript, Angular, NGRX, D3js
• Data-store: Postgresql, Elasticsearch, Redis
• GitLab for continuous delivery
• Kubernetes for infrastructure
• Prometheus/Grafana and Kibana for operations
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, autonomy and reliability; comfortable managing multiple requests and deadlines simultaneously.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ease in coordinating with different stakeholders

Nice to have

• On top of English, you speak French or Dutch
• Experienced in logistics related industries
• Experienced in working with European companies
