Software Engineer (Contract Programmer)

Contract: 2 Years + Extendable

Working Hours: MonThu 8:45 AM5:45 PM | Fri 8:45 AM4:45 PM

Role Overview:

Join the Enterprise Payment Services team to design, develop, enhance, and support critical payment systems (FPX, RPP) and related integrations. You will work closely with squad leads, business teams, and technical stakeholders to deliver secure, compliant, and high-quality application solutions. Occasional after-hours support required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web and batch applications within existing architecture
• Manage change requests, deliveries, and timelines with Squad Lead/SMEs
• Perform requirement analysis, SIT testing, production & post-implementation support
• Investigate production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement preventive fixes
• Ensure compliance with audit, risk, and regulatory requirements
• Provide first/second-level application support and continuous process improvement

Requirements:

• 5+ years IT application/system support experience in financial institutions
• Strong in RHEL/Linux, shell scripting, SRE, Agile
• Experience with AWS, REST APIs, Java, containers, CI/CD
• Payment ecosystem experience is an advantage
• Degree in CS/IT or equivalent; strong communication and teamwork skills
