Regularly leads important projects that require providing experienced project team members with instruction, guidance, and advice in all aspects of the project to ensure delivery of quality outcomes.
Responsible for developing & reviewing project member software for automation machines to ensure requirement, functionality & expectation are fully covered.
Develop detailed software design specifications and documentation.
Join project discussion sessions to provide software perspective in the machine design.
Recommendation and selection of software related hardware used in the project.
Must display initiative and ability to work in small multi-disciplinary teams including customers, project managers & software engineers.
Accountable for project time estimations and delivery schedules.
On-site support for software related issues.
Travelling to set-up, develop & support buy-off activity is necessary.
Presenting, Communicating and dealing with project customers during conferences or meetings.
Mentoring, developing and helping junior engineers.
Knowledgeable in the business domain and business value.
Develop or enhance coding standards/best practices to ensure that code is consistent and readable, making it easier for other developers to understand and maintain the coding. Improve code quality, reduce programming error and enhance collaborations among developers.
Other duties and assignments as instructed by superiors from time to time.

Job Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering (Mechatronic), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent years of related experience.
Preferably 5-8 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Ladder Logic and Structure Text. #Complete knowledge in IEC 61131 will be added advantage.
