We're now entering our next phase of growth and are looking for a Senior Software Engineer / Team Lead to join our team someone with solid experience in modern web development, who's excited to shape the product and mentor junior engineers.
You'll be working alongside a growing team of junior/mid-level developers, contributing not just code, but engineering best practices and scalable solutions that help us serve even more SMEs across the country.
Responsibilities
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code and help others do the same.
- Translate specifications and wireframes into high-quality code.
- Build reusable components and libraries for future use.
- Review code and mentor junior/mid-level engineers across the team.
- Participate in technical decision-making and help shape engineering direction.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to deliver high-impact features.
- Participate in Scrum events and work closely with other Scrum team members.
Requirements
- At least 5 years solid experience in modern web development.
- Solid experience in modern web frameworks / libraries, preferably Next.js / Laravel.
- Deep understanding of frontend architecture and performance optimization.
- Good knowledge in HTML5, CSS3 and any modern CSS frameworks.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and state management tools (Redux, Zustand, etc.).
- Experience working with Git, CI/CD, and Scrum teams.
- Good knowledge in MySQL raw queries.
- Basic understanding of *nix commands and server administration.
- Highly analytical with strong logical thinking.
- Strong communication skills and willingness to share knowledge.
- Self-driven and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

- Experience in TDD, writing tests and unit testing.
- Experience in database query optimisation.
