Software Engineering Intern

Flam is the AI-native content platform taking the internet beyond video. We generate life-like immersive visuals and fluid interactions — streamed applessly in under 300ms — powering advertising, commerce, and communication for Fortune 500 brands. Our proprietary model family (Fable, Fantom, Falcon) sits at the intersection of generative AI, real-time rendering, and enterprise GTM. We're early, fast-moving, and defining a new content format category from scratch.

About the Role

We're looking for a passionate and motivated Software Engineering Intern to join our engineering team. You'll work closely with experienced developers to design, build, and test features that impact real users. This is a hands-on internship where you'll gain exposure to the full software development lifecycle—from ideation to deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the engineering team to design, develop, and test software solutions.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Debug and troubleshoot application issues across different environments.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in software development.
• Assist in integrating APIs, improving performance, and maintaining existing systems.
• Design and develop interactive 3D experiences using Three.js, WebGL, and theCanvas API.
• Research emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend teams to translate product requirements into technical solutions.

What We're Looking For

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of programming fundamentals and object-oriented design.
• Experience with at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, C++, or Go).
• Familiarity with web development frameworks, databases, or cloud technologies is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Architect, develop, and maintain scalable and modular frontends using React and Next.js.
• Build reusable components and libraries using modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React,Next.Js).
• Eagerness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Nice To Have

• Prior internship or project experience in software development.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with React, Vue.js,Next.js or another frontend framework.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Exposure to Git/GitHub, APIs, or DevOps tools.
• Understanding of Agile development processes.
