Software Engineering Manager (Digital Manufacturing)

THE COMPANY

Our Client is a renowned organisation in the Manufacturing industry with a strong presence worldwide. They are looking for a Software Engineering Manager as part of their expansion plans in Malaysia, reporting to the Regional Head of Operations.

THE ROLE

The Software Engineering Manager is responsible for:

• Lead cross-functional teams to implement digital manufacturing systems (MES, IoT, automation, AI/analytics).
• Define and execute digital transformation roadmap aligned with business goals.
• Optimize manufacturing processes using data-driven insights.
• Collaborate with IT, operations, and engineering teams to ensure seamless system integration.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with exposure to digital/Industry 4.0 solutions.
• Strong knowledge of MES, automation, data platforms, IoT, and AI/ML tools applied to engineering or operations.
• Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills.
