Job Overview
We are hiring an experienced QA Team Lead to lead QA activities across software development projects, define testing strategies, manage QA resources, and ensure high-quality software delivery throughout the SDLC.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage the QA team.
- Define test strategies, plans, timelines, and risk mitigation.
- Review test scenarios, test cases, and ensure adequate test coverage.
- Coordinate Functional, Integration, System, Regression, UAT, Performance, and Security Testing.
- Manage defect tracking, prioritization, and resolution.
- Collaborate with Developers, BAs, Product Owners, and Project Managers.
- Monitor testing progress, quality metrics, and release readiness.
- Drive QA process improvement and test automation practices.
Requirements
- 6–10 years of Software QA experience.
- 2–3 years of QA Team Lead/leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum, Manual Testing, Test Planning, and Defect Management.
- Hands-on experience with SQL, API Testing (Postman), and tools such as Jira, Zephyr, TestRail, or Azure DevOps.
- Understanding of CI/CD and Risk Management.
- Experience with enterprise-scale applications and multiple projects.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related field.
Good to Have
- Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- JMeter or LoadRunner.
- AWS/Azure and DevOps.
- Microservices and REST API automation.
- Banking/Insurance domain experience.
- Camunda/BPM testing experience.
