Software Tester Analyst

Job Overview
We are looking for a Software Tester Analyst to support software quality assurance activities across development initiatives. The role will be responsible for executing test cases, identifying and tracking defects, preparing test documentation, and supporting various testing cycles including Functional, Integration, Regression, and UAT.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute test cases for Functional, Integration, System, Regression, and UAT testing.
- Prepare and maintain test data required for test execution.
- Develop and maintain detailed test cases and test scenarios based on requirements and user stories.
- Review requirements to identify test conditions, edge cases, and potential risks.
- Log, track, prioritize, and verify defects through resolution and closure.
- Participate in defect triage and provide clear reproduction steps.
- Maintain accurate test execution records, test evidence, and QA documentation.
- Prepare regular testing status updates and reports.
- Work closely with Developers, Business Analysts, and QA Team Leads to clarify requirements and testing scope.
- Support UAT sessions and post-release validation when required.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and testing practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in Software QA / Software Testing.
- Hands-on experience in manual testing and test case execution.
- Basic understanding of SDLC and STLC.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Experience with defect management.
- Basic SQL knowledge for data validation.
- Exposure to API testing, preferably using Postman.
- Familiarity with test management/project tools such as Jira, Zephyr, TestRail, or Azure DevOps.
