Role Overview
The Software Technician will provide hands-on support for automation and scheduling systems to ensure smooth production operations. This includes troubleshooting, maintaining accurate data flow, and assisting with efficiency improvements across manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Automation Systems Support: Operate and troubleshoot Assembly & Test automation systems (e.g., APF, Scheduler) and perform routine system checks.
- Dispatching & Scheduling: Follow established rules to ensure production flow aligns with area priorities.
- Data Accuracy & Reporting: Update dashboards, verify data, and support accurate site metrics for decision-making.
- Process & Line Support: Maintain line balance, optimize areas, and report production flow issues.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in activities to improve cycle time and tool performance; provide feedback and suggest practical fixes.
- System & Tool Handling: Operate internal systems (MAM, ET, MES, Toolview, VMS Mozart), perform basic troubleshooting, and escalate complex issues.
Candidate Requirements
- Fresh graduates (Diploma holders) and candidates with up to 2 years of experience are welcome.
- Knowledge of dispatching and programming is an added advantage.
- Regular working hours apply; however, candidates should be open to supporting shifts if required
