Role Summary
Design and execute test strategies for printer products and related software. You will drive tests, perform in-depth validation, and work closely with engineering teams to ensure high-quality, reliable products and product enhancements. Build automation test capabilities for Windows applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Design Verification & Test (DVT) plans for software releases
- Design, develop, and execute automated and manual tests (functional, regression, performance)
- Track defects, conduct root-cause analysis, and validate fixes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify risks and issues early
- Support field issues and contribute to continuous product improvements
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- 3–5 years (or more) of software testing experience with manual testing exposure
- Proficient in Python, Perl, or similar scripting languages
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS and networking (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS)
- Familiar with hardware interfaces (USB, Serial, Parallel)
- Proficient in English, Malay and Mandarin.
- Able to read and interpret Mandarin technical content
- Strong research, analytical and problem-solving skills
