Software Tester - Banking

Job Title: Software Tester

Contract Duration: 6 months extendable

Payroll: Laurelsoft SDN BHD

Location: Bangi - 5 days work from office

Primary Responsibilities

* Support Test Manager, Test Lead, and Business Users to ensure smooth testing delivery.

* Execute test planning, test case design, test data preparation, RTM mapping, and test execution.

* Validate functional and non-functional requirements.

* Log, track, and manage defects using JIRA.

* Maintain test documentation and requirements traceability.

* Support multiple projects simultaneously and contribute to QA process improvements.

Requirements

* 1 years experience in Banking/Financial Services.

* Minimum 3 year of experience as a software Tester.

* Knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).

* Willing to work extended hours when required to meet project deadlines.

Key Duties

* Participate in test planning and review of requirements.

* Ensure traceability between requirements and test cases.

* Perform testing activities as directed by project and testing leads.

* Accurately document and track defects through to closure.

* Support 2–3 concurrent projects while building testing domain knowledge.
