Job Details: Position: Software Tester
Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Eligible: Only Malaysians
Experience: 4-7 years
Position: Contract 1+ YEARS
Salary: 5000-6000 RM
Functional Tester responsibilities will include:
Testing of investment and financial-related software application.
Be involved in creation and execution of Test Plans, Test Script and confirm success criteria towards
providing sign off on Test documents and status reports
Preparing test data, Test case execution and daily status update to stakeholder.
Understanding and adapting complex system architecture and creating test scripts
Create traceability Matrix to map requirements and test cases in a spreadsheet
Participate in software design reviews and walk-throughs.
Consult with business and systems analysts on test plans and test scripts.
Find, reproduce and accurately report issues in detailed bug reports
Analyze and troubleshoot reported defects and internal issues
Follow up on bug-fixing efforts with developers to ensure proper closure and resolution of discovered and
existing issue
Review test scripts with SME and BA and system walkthrough to team member
General overview on the Software Development Lifecycle
Create detailed system and integration test cases
Analyze test results and demonstrate the results
Provide test evidence and defect status reports for audit purpose.
Log and manage defects in a tool and conduct defect triage meetings
Escalate Roadblocks
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
4 to 7 years of experience in testing field.
2+ years of financial/Investment industry experience
Experience to design test case and test scenario from requirement document.
Ability to quickly acquire knowledge on complex integrated systems
Test Management tools (Jira + XRAY, HPQC, etc.)
API testing.
Able to work under pressure and ability to manage development team from different country.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Financial / Investment domain experience is preferred.
Knowledge in performance test (Jmeter), Agile process, Robot Framework & Test Project will be added
advantage.
