We are looking for a skilled Software Tester to join our dynamic team in Cyberjaya, Selangor. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products through meticulous testing and quality assurance practices.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for software applications.
- Identify, document, and track defects using issue tracking tools.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand requirements and provide feedback on software functionality.
- Perform regression testing to ensure existing functionalities remain unaffected by new changes.
- Participate in sprint planning and review meetings, providing input on testing and quality assurance.
- Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on software quality and performance.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
- Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit) is a plus.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) for test automation.
- Familiarity with issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as in a team.
