Solar Design Engineer (GCPV)

Strong knowledge of photovoltaic system design, engineering and system components optimization ofSolar PV Systems.

Create PV Layouts and PV System reports, electrical single line diagrams (SLD) for PV systems.

Prepare standard technical documentation & amend according to the site conditions and proposal requirements.

Provide engineering and technical support.

Strong knowledge of photovoltaic system diagnosis, troubleshooting and remediation work.

Assess and develop optimal technical designs by conducting troubleshooting analysis and system performance analysis.

Execute designs that adhere to grid compliance and statutory requirements.

Act as the responsible engineer for reviewing and endorsing design documents prior to authority submission.

Coordinate with management and sales team to develop a complete proposal package.

Work across functionally with sales and project management team to ensure clients established specifications and system's standards are met.

Lead and mentor junior team members through structured guidance and project involvement.

Requirements:

• Prefer to have Grid-Connected Photovoltaic System Design (GCPV) certification by SEDA.
• Must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree/ Post-Graduate Diploma/ Professional Degree in Electrical or related field.
• Good command in written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• 2-3 years experience in on-grid & off-grid solar design.
• Experience in Large Scale Solar Farm Projects (LSS) will be an added advantage.
• Familiar with authorities submission such as SEDA, TNB & ST.
• Required to have skills in technical designing tools such as AutoCAD, Sketchup etc.
• Required to have skills in simulation software like PVsyst, Helioscope or other relevant tools.
• Strong communication and analytical ability, networking skill and technical knowledge.
• Able to write Technical Report, Proposal Paper and Management Paper.
• Competent in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.
