We are currently hiring for a Solar PV QAQC Inspector on behalf of our client for a large-scale solar project in Malaysia. This role will support site construction and quality activities.
Position: Solar PV QAQC Inspector
Location: KG Gajah, Perak
Duration: 12 months
Accommodation will be provided
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate mechanical & electrical construction by EPC contractor
- Monitor construction progress, timeline, and quality compliance
- Review materials and drawings to ensure compliance with specifications
- Manage QA/QC documentation (tests, inspections, NCRs, reports)
- Conduct site inspections, audits, and witness testing during commissioning
- Track project schedule and propose solutions for delays/issues
- Prepare progress and QAQC reports
- Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and external stakeholders
- Ensure health & safety compliance on site
- Identify risks and manage construction issues
- Prepare punch lists
Key Requirements
- Experience in large-scale solar PV EPCC
- Knowledge of PV systems (tracker, fixed structure, QAQC)
- Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Able to interpret construction drawings
- Willing to be based in Perak
- Good communication (English & Bahasa Malaysia)
- Familiar with MS Office / SharePoint
- CIDB Green Card (NTSP/NTSPL preferred)
- Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills
