About the Job
The Solution Architect (Cloud Solutions) is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud-based solutions that align with customer business needs. This role combines technical expertise with consultative engagement, supporting clients throughout their digital transformation journey. Based in Kuala Lumpur (APAC Region), you will act as a trusted technical advisor across the entire customer lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate customer requirements into scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud architectures.
- Act as a technical advisor from discovery and design to deployment, operations, and optimization.
- Provide consultative guidance to simplify complex technical concepts for various stakeholders.
- Stay updated on technology trends to enhance OneCloud's solutions and offerings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales and business development, to align solutions with organizational goals.
- Support technical operations and account management tasks as required by the Business Development Director.
- Maintain high standards for technical documentation and solution delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 35 years of hands-on experience in cloud architecture, infrastructure design, or technical consulting.
- Strong knowledge of cloud technologies, including IaaS, PaaS, networking, storage, security, and automation frameworks.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Language proficiency in both Mandarin and English (spoken and written) to support regional clients.
- Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving and solution-oriented thinking.
