Solution Architect

_ JOB DESCRIPTION SOLUTION ARCHITECT_

We are looking for a Solution Architect to join RunCloud. As an Solution Architect, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing scalable software solutions that meet the needs of our users. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product and engineering teams, to ensure our solutions are aligned with business objectives and technical requirements.

• Responsibilities

To develop, manage and implement architecture projects that will meet organization objectives

• Secure digital development by adopting the solution development life cycle and methodologies

Ensure the solutions are robust, secure, and meet quality standards through comprehensive testing and validation

• Create and maintain detailed architectural documentation, including system diagrams, technical specifications, and integration guides

Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions

• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies, and incorporate them into architectural designs to enhance our products

Can evaluate technology and prefer best solution based on available tech in the wild

• Ability to mentor developer on the provided solution

Ability to collaborate cross department to ensure everything is in fact doable

• Oversee solution implementation and testing to make sure nothing being forgotten by developers

• Skills required:

Have experience in either Laravel, JavaScript, Bash and server management

• Have experience with MySQL, Mariadb, Percona and related

Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools

• Familiar or have knowledge in Docker is a bonus

Familiar with microservice architecture is a bonus

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

• Strong knowledge of various technologies, platforms, and architectural patterns

A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality and continuous improvement

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Have deep understanding in software development methodology, either Agile, Waterfall, or Shape Up (currently used by RunCloud)

• Ability to communicate in layman term for deep tech discussion

• Qualification

Minimum Bachelor degree in computer science, information technology, or any related field

• Fresh graduates or developers interested in becoming Solution Architects are welcome to apply

Strong background in software development and architecture

• Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently

Candidate must be willing to work at Cyberjaya
