Role: Solution Architect.

Location: Malaysia.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Skills: Cloud technology, AWS and Azure, Solution Architect.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) – mandatory.
• Fluency in Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin) (written and spoken) - mandatory.

• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in IT, covering software development, systems integration, or infrastructure
• Minimum 3 years of proven experience in a Solution Architect or Enterprise Architect role
• Demonstrated experience designing and implementing large-scale, mission-critical enterprise solutions
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud) and cloud migration projects
• Background in the aviation, transportation, or travel industry is highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF or similar)
• Expertise in microservices architecture, API design, and integration patterns
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages and technology stacks
• Deep understanding of database technologies (SQL, NoSQL), data warehousing, and ETL/ELT processes
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift [Preferred]) and orchestration platforms
• Knowledge of security principles, authentication mechanisms, compliance standards and best practices
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub), and Infrastructure as Code
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and mentor technical teams
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Strategic thinking with a pragmatic approach to solution delivery
• Collaborative mindset with strong teamwork and relationship-building capabilities.
