Sommelier, you will curate and manage our wine programme, guide guests with thoughtful food and wine pairings, and ensure the highest standards of wine presentation and cellar management. Every interaction is an opportunity to enhance our guests experience and reflect the warmth and excellence of our hospitality.
Responsibilities
Here's what you'll do during a typical day:
- Recommend wines and beverage pairings based on guests preferences and menu selections.
- Deliver professional wine service, including presentation, opening, decanting, and serving.
- Manage wine inventory, stock rotation, storage conditions, and ordering.
- Liaise with wine suppliers to source new products and maintain product availability.
- Conduct regular wine tastings and evaluate new vintages and labels.
- Support menu development through food and wine pairing recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with responsible alcohol service and local regulations.
- Maintain high standards of cellar organisation, cleanliness, and wine preservation.

In Addition, This Role Requires The Following Minimum Qualifications
- WSET Level 2 or 3, Court of Master Sommeliers, or equivalent wine certification preferred.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Sommelier or in a luxury hotel or fine dining restaurant.
- Strong knowledge of international wines, spirits, vineyards, vintages, and food pairing.
- Excellent communication, guest service, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
