Sourcing Engineer

Job Responsibilities

1. Develop, evaluate, and manage suppliers in alignment with company strategy.
2. Establish and maintain long-term relationships with preferred suppliers.
3. Lead contract negotiations, including Purchase Agreements and Non-Disclosure Agreements.
4. Collaborate with suppliers to develop raw materials and solutions based on project requirements.
5. Manage RFQ processes and sample arrangements at various project stages.
6. Negotiate commercial terms such as pricing, payment terms, MOQs, and lead times.
7. Drive cost reduction initiatives through CBD analysis and alternative sourcing strategies.
8. Identify and mitigate supply chain risks to ensure supplier performance meets project demands.
9. Conduct supplier audits, including onboarding assessments and annual strategic supplier evaluations.
10. Work closely with internal Engineering Department and Sales teams to support project development.
11. Continuously review the supplier base and collaborate with internal teams to enhance delivery, quality, and service levels.
12. Complete any other tasks assigned by superiors on time.

Experience / Skill Required

1. Essential skill(s): Knowledge on generic mechanics and mechanics process/technologies.
2. Experience in supplier development and cost optimization strategies.
3. Degree in Business / Engineering or any related field.
4. Minimum 3 years of relevant sourcing experience, engineering background is preferred.
5. Ability to explore and adapt to new applications and supply chain solutions.
6. Experience in multinational companies is preferred.
7. Familiarity with manufacturing or technical sourcing environments.
8. Proficiency in English and Mandarin is preferred for effective communication with stakeholders.
