Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Automation, Electrical Engineering, Supply Chain, or related technical field;
Experience:
8+ years in procurement or supply chain roles, with at least 4years in non-standard automation, special-purpose machinery, industrial equipment, or capital goods manufacturing;
Proven track record of leading supplier development, cost negotiations, and end-to-end project deliverynot limited to PO processing;
Technical Skills:
Ability to read mechanical/electrical drawings and perform process-based cost breakdowns;
Strong knowledge of local Malaysian machining, sheet metal, heat treatment, and surface finishing capabilities and market rates;
Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, etc.);
Language:
Fluent English, Chinese language proficiency is a plus.
