Job Summary:
We are seeking a results-driven Sourcing & Material Pricing Analyst to join the Supply Chain team. This role plays a critical part in improving material cost-efficiency, pricing, supplier performance, and driving localization efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze supply chain data to identify cost-saving and efficiency opportunities
- Lead sourcing projects including localization, volume purchasing, and supplier consolidation
- Collaborate with engineering and procurement to identify alternative materials and suppliers
- Negotiate pricing and contract terms with suppliers
- Maintain accurate vendor pricing in ERP system (ISAH)
- Support buyers with pricing data and resolve pricing queries from Sales
- Monitor pricing KPIs and report raw material cost trends
- Analyze demand and recommend stocking strategies
- Identify cost-effective logistics options and lead time improvement opportunities
- Communicate demand changes that may impact material costs
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in any field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, and material analysis in a manufacturing MNC
- Strong negotiation, data analysis, and communication skills
- Knowledge of raw materials and quality control principles
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; ERP experience required (ISAH is an advantage)
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is a plus
- Strong work ethic, proactive, and able to work independently
