Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Special Education Teacher located in Petaling Jaya. The Special Education Teacher will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized education plans, teaching children with special needs, and using various teaching techniques and materials. Daily tasks include assessing children&aposs progress, collaborating with parents and other professionals, and adapting teaching methods to meet students&apos needs. The role also involves improving children&aposs communication skills and motor development to prepare them for mainstream education.
Qualifications
- Experience in teaching and special education
- Knowledge of disabilities and strategies for supporting children with special needs
- Strong communication skills
- Experience working with middle school-aged children is a plus
- Bachelor&aposs degree in Special Education, Psychology, or related field
- Patience, empathy, and a commitment to improving educational outcomes for children with special needs
