This is a full-time, on-site role for a Special Needs Therapist located in WP, Kuala Lumpur. As a Special Needs Therapist, you will work closely with individuals to design and implement personalized therapy plans aimed at fostering their developmental and psychological growth. Daily tasks include conducting assessments, creating therapeutic strategies, evaluating progress, collaborating with families and caregivers, and maintaining detailed records. You will also play an active role in advocating for inclusivity and supporting clients in achieving their goals.

• Proficiency in therapy techniques for individuals with learning and developmental disabilities, including behavioral and developmental interventions.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and active listening abilities to effectively engage with clients, families, and team members.
• Skills in conducting assessments, evaluating progress, and maintaining accurate and confidential documentation.
• Understanding psychological concepts and strategies related to mental health and developmental well-being.
• Empathy, patience, and commitment to promoting inclusivity and making a positive impact in the lives of individuals with special needs.
• Relevant certifications or qualifications in child development, psychology, special education, or related fields.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental or learning disabilities is a strong asset.
