Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely, accurate delivery of HR Payroll services that meet SLAs, comply with relevant country-specific employment laws, and adhere to internal policies.
- Drive operational excellence by identifying opportunities to optimize resources, automate workflows, and streamline HR Payroll processes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver responsive, customer-focused HR solutions.
- Monitor performance metrics, troubleshoot data or process issues, and implement corrective actions to maintain service standards.
- Lead knowledge management initiatives by capturing best practices and promoting continuous learning within the team.
- Mentor and guide Team Leads to build a high-performing, empowered HR support team.
- Support senior leadership with ad-hoc projects and provide subject matter expertise when needed.
- Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships through regular service reviews and issue resolution.
- Participate in cross-functional initiatives and offer backup support to ensure seamless service continuity.
- Partner with the department head on workforce planning, talent development, and recruitment to support long-term operational success.
Requirements
- A diploma/degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration or in any relevant disciplines.
- At least 4 - 5 year of working exposure or experience in payroll within SSC/ BPO/ MNC supporting multiple/ different countries (preferred).
- Experienced in leading/ coaching a team
- Candidate with experience in SAP / Workday would be an added advantage.
- Willing to be based at Bangsar South, Kuala Lumpur (accessible by LRT)
