He/She will play a pivotal role in strengthening our employer brand, enhancing employee experiences, and driving engagement initiatives that shape a positive workplace culture in Lam Soon. While your primary focus will be on employee engagement and employer branding, you will also provide support in HR communications and any hiring activities when needed, ensuring a seamless and consistent internal and external experiences. Job Responsibilities :
1. Employer Branding
- Develop and execute high-impact branding campaigns designed to position Lam Soon as a leading employer of choice within the industry.
- Enhance our digital presence through authentic storytelling that showcases our culture and values. This includes proactively managing and optimizing our brand footprint on LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Indeed, Jobstreet, and the official Careers page.
- Partner with the recruitment team to produce engaging multimedia content such as videos, blogs, and advertisements that attracts top talent and ensures a premium, consistent brand experience throughout the candidate journey.
- Act as a dedicated culture ambassador by embedding organizational values into core HR processes, including onboarding, training, and broader culture-building initiatives.
- Launch and lead an employee advocacy program that empowers staff to become brand ambassadors by sharing their unique professional stories and experiences online.
- Contribute to long-term organizational growth by supporting proactive sourcing efforts to maintain a robust and diverse talent pipeline.
- Reimagine and own the end-to-end onboarding journey, from pre-boarding through the first 90 days, ensuring a seamless and welcoming transition for all new hires.
- Ensure every new hires is deeply immersed in Lam Soon's culture, core values, and performance expectations from their very first day.
2. Employee Engagement:
- Orchestrate a comprehensive annual engagement roadmap by designing data-driven initiatives centred on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), holistic wellness, and employee recognition to ensure a year-round culture of belonging.
- Lead the strategic planning and execution of company-wide eventsincluding town halls, retreats, and team-building activitiescontinuously iterating based on feedback to elevate the quality and impact of every gathering.
- Monitor and analyze experience ands of all engagement and branding programs, using key metrics to ensure initiatives successfully drive cross-functional collaboration, enhance the employee experience, and measurably improve long-term retention.
3. HR Communication:
- Create and manage a comprehensive internal communications calendar designed to streamline information flow, boost transparency, and maintain high levels of employee inspiration and alignment with company goals.
- Serve as the primary editor and ghostwriter for the HR Director and senior leadership team, ensuring all corporate messaging maintains a consistent, empathetic, and professional tone-of-voice across all internal platforms.
- Lead the implementation and optimization of digital communication tools (such as intranets, mobile apps, or collaborative platforms) to modernize HR processes and significantly enhance the overall employee user experience.
- Create a cohesive internal communications calendar to keep employees informed and inspired.
- Ghostwrite or edit communications for the HR Director or any leadership team to ensure tone-of-voice consistency.
- Support implementation of communication digital tools that enhance both engagement HR processes and user experience.
Job Requirements:
- Academic Background: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or any related field.
- Professional Experience:34 years of progressive HR experience, with a specialized focus on Employer Branding and a proven track record in Employee Engagement and Strategic Communications.
- Linguistic Excellence: Native-level English proficiency written and speaking, with the ability to articulate brand messages clearly and persuasively across diversly.
- Content Storytelling: Exceptional writing and content creation skills, with a unique ability to transform standard corporate updates into inspiring, narrative-driven stories.
- Visual Design & Multimedia: Proficiency in modern creative tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and video editing software to produce high-quality visual assets for storytelling.
- Social Media Expertise: In-depth understanding of social media ecosystems, including algorithms and engagement best practices, to maximize the reach and impact of our employer brand.
- The Builder Mentality: A resourceful and creative mindset with a passion for designing new frameworks, programs, and cultural initiatives from the ground up.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to identify trends, measure program success, and iterate for better results.
