About the RoleAccountable for the processing & maintenance of investment master data and corporate actions on the SAP FAM system to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the accounting of AIA's invested assets.
1 Perform daily investment master data and corporate actions processing in accordance with Business Process Manuals and applicable accounting policies & standards and ensure that all investment master data and corporate actions are processed and maintained accurately, in a complete manner and on a timely basis.
2 Maintain high quality of documentation for investment master data and corporate actions processes and in accordance with Business Process Manuals
3 Attend and respond to investment master data and corporate actions enquiries from Group and Local Finance and Investment Operations teams, and other relevant stakeholders, satisfactorily and in a timely manner.
4 Support Group and Local Finance and Investment Operations teams, and other relevant stakeholders on daily investment master data and corporate actions matters as well as projects and initiatives.
5 Assess, recommend and implement improvements in investment master data and corporate actions processes and systems to improve effectiveness and efficiency of daily processing, including interdependencies with upstream/downstream processes and systems and incorporation of changes onto Business Process Manuals.
6 Provide support and coaching to other junior Associates of Data Control.
