Job Objective:
Assist LOB Head/M through effective planning, managing to achieve underwriting budget and underwriting profit in accordance with the company/regulatory guidelines or benchmark.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting surveys including testing of fire protection facilities and producing survey reports for the purpose of underwriting, special rating, risk management, risk improvement and loss assessment.
- Conducting Value Added Services including Loss Prevention Survey and Infrared Thermography Survey on request basis from production as well as outlining a loss prevention program for client based on recommendations.
- Produce survey reports for the purpose of underwriting, special rating, risk management, risk improvement and loss assessment.
- Providing technical consultation / advice to the insured.
- Assisting the underwriting department in underwriting and loss assessment when necessary.
- Liaising with other professionals e.g. Special Rating Committee and Technical Services for advice on rating-related matters.
- Ensure effective and efficient administration of day-to-day business operations in line with SOP across all support functions.
Job Requirement :
- A Degree in Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering or other engineering degrees.
- Willingness to travel for business purposes.
- Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply.
- Possesses own transport with valid driving license.
