The Standard Specialist supports the Standards & Performance team by providing end-to-end ownership and operational control over DC Ops standards (process and documents). The standards specialist reports directly to the Senior Manager Standards & Performance to provide end-to-end ownership and operational control over DC Ops standards (process and documents).
The Standards Specialist is responsible for managing and maintaining global and regional standards, documents, and processes within the Data Center Operations organization. This role ensures compliance with governance requirements, drives continuous improvement initiatives including AI-enabled enhancements, and supports accurate reporting and collaboration across global teams.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- DMS platform interface/systems - ARIS/MS team community
- Standards (Processes and Document) new submissions. Primary interface with GRC and Central Functions.
- Global DCOP document library (legacy) management and transition/updates for DC Ops
- Drive AI-enabled improvement initiatives across Standards and Performance
- Documents & Process reviews (generally 12M) updates and tracking
- Document translations (uncontrolled), as required
- Community MS team DCOPS - Process & Document collaboration oversight
- Monthly reporting (KPIs/metrics) - DCOPSCO Scorecard Power B

Education & Experience
- Experience of working with DC operational standards (Processes and Documents) with the ability to prepare, present and summarise information to all audience types within a large multinational company.
- Ideally, experience in data centers.
- Subject matter experts understanding of document and reporting governance principles.
- Working Knowledge of Plan Do Check Act (Deming cycle) and Lean Principles highly desirable.
- Ability to teach and guide team members through documentation, new processes, and RACI.
- Proficient in English language both written and verbal.
