Job Description

What You'll Do:

1. Programme & Platform Operations

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of mission-critical digital programmes, ensuring smooth execution across participating ecosystem partners, channels, and platforms.
  • Oversee operational readiness, issue management, service performance, and programme governance throughout the programme lifecycle.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure operational stability, compliance, and service excellence.

2. Operational Governance & Continuous Improvement

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance operational frameworks, SOPs, service standards, and governance processes.
  • Monitor programme performance, identify operational risks, and drive corrective actions to improve efficiency, scalability, and user experience.
  • Lead post-incident reviews and continuous improvement initiatives across operational workflows.

3. Stakeholder & Ecosystem Management

  • Serve as a key coordination point between internal teams, government agencies, enterprise partners, service providers, and ecosystem participants.
  • Drive alignment, facilitate decision-making, and manage escalations to ensure successful programme execution.
  • Build trusted relationships with stakeholders and represent operational perspectives in strategic discussions.

4. Business Strategy & Programme Insights

  • Analyse operational, ecosystem, and market data to identify opportunities, risks, and emerging trends.
  • Translate insights into strategic recommendations that improve programme performance, adoption, and ecosystem outcomes.
  • Support management reporting, business reviews, and executive decision-making through structured analysis and performance tracking.

5. Business Enablement & Use Case Expansion

  • Identify and evaluate new programme, industry, and ecosystem opportunities that can leverage the platform's capabilities.
  • Develop business cases, operating models, and implementation approaches for new use cases, features, and service offerings.
  • Work closely with product, commercial, and technology teams to shape concepts from ideation through pilot and production deployment.

6. Strategic Initiatives & Market Expansion

  • Lead strategic initiatives that support platform growth, including new market entry, ecosystem expansion, and partnership opportunities.
  • Drive end-to-end execution of expansion initiatives — from opportunity assessment, stakeholder engagement, business case development, and buy-in acquisition to implementation and operationalisation.

Role Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's/Diploma degree in any relevant field.
  • Experience:
  • 4–7 years of experience in operations, programme delivery, or platform-scale services (e.g., fintech, e-wallets, banking, government tech, etc).
  • Experience managing nationwide rollouts involving multiple parties such as merchants, financial institutions, and end users.
  • Leadership Abilities: Experience in a team leadership or supervisory role, preferably with exposure involving national-scale platforms, public-private collaboration, government relation, and financial access initiatives.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, strong presentation skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills, adept at identifying and resolving issues.
  • Numbers Driven: Execute strategy based on performance matrices and data.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments, managing multiple projects effectively.

Skills/Knowledge:

  • Strong command of written and oral English, Bahasa Malaysia & Mandarin would be a plus.
  • Strong skills in process structure and design, programme governance, stakeholder coordination, and incident management.
  • Self-motivated and able to work effectively within the team and across the organization with minimal supervision, working mainly independently to achieve goals agreed with leadership.
  • Well-developed presentation skills, including the ability to effectively deliver information internally and externally at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and attention to details skills.
  • Motivated to continuously improve one's self.
